Cypress Lawn Heritage Foundation, located in Colma, Calif., operates the Cypress Lawn Memorial Park, a cemetery established in 1892. The facility features monuments and edifices, stained glass windows and works of art. The foundation provides diverse educational programs to students in grades kindergarten through 12 and universities, conservation and preservation professionals, and the communities in the Greater San Francisco Bay Area and Northern California. The facility s indoor and outdoor museum has a number of works of art. The other activities of the foundation include sponsorship of educational programs, lectures, tours and seminars pertaining to the history of Cypress Lawn Memorial Park and Arboretum. It also highlights the achievements and contributions of the historical figures laid to rest at Cypress Lawn.
