COF Training Services, located in Ottawa, Kan., offers programs to develop, coordinate and implement services that support individuals with developmental disabilities by maximizing their level of independence and quality of life. The individuals are provided services and supports that allow them opportunities to increase their independence, productivity, and integration and inclusion into the community. The vocational services provided include work activity training, employment services, alternative day program, enrichment center and case management. It also provides residential services, including group living residences, apartments, supported living homes and supported community living. Additionally, it offers services for children and families, such as respite care, supportive home care and home modifications. COF Training Services also has the responsibility of providing local oversight of all community service providers in Osage, Coffey and Franklin counties in Kansas.
