Welcome to Biddefords City Theater City Theater in Biddeford Maine is a fully restored 1890s Opera House offering theater, music, dance and more to the surrounding southern Maine communities. Our 2011 season includes: Edges, Always... Patsy Cline, Gypsy and Dont Dress for Dinner. We are a performing arts venue as well, and welcome inquiries for musical performances. Built in 1860, this community theater is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

About the building: The Wells Public Library is a single story building and is handicapped accessible with electronic door openers on both the front and back entrances. In addition, there is a ramp on the back of the building, and handicapped parking spaces on the side of the building. We strive to make our building, safe, accessible and welcoming to all who visit us. Wells Public Library provides information and services for the residents of the community in their pursuit of educational, cultural, personal and recreational needs. The library accomplishes this by collecting, organizing and disseminating information in a variety of formats while actively working with other agencies to serve the diverse needs of the community.
The Gauvin County Scholarship Fund of Aroostook Aspirations Initiative in Maine provides scholarship funding to seniors in high school wanting to attend college and college students wanting to further their secondary education.
