Operational for over 25 years, The Discovery Center of the Southern Tier has been a children s museum. Located in Binghamton, N.Y., it is spread across 22,500-square-foot of space. Breaking Barriers Yoga is creating Unity in the Community through free or donation-based yoga for the underserved in Broome County and surrounding areas. We provide a physical yoga space where everyone is welcome to practice yoga regardless of their income. We believe the physical, mental and emotional benefits of yoga should be available to all, regardless of financial circumstances, gender, age, background, and challenges. In addition, Breaking Barriers Yoga provides outreach yoga and mindfulness training for other community organizations--like schools and non-profits-- to utilize in their programming with at-risk groups.
