Paxtang Elementary School is an educational facility that provides a range of learning opportunities for more than 225 students in kindergarten through grade five. Its academic curriculum includes physical education, math, language arts, social studies and science. The school also offers the English as a Second Language program. Paxtang Elementary School operates a parent-teacher organization, library, and homework and computer clubs. In addition, it provides classes in art and music. The school offers special education programs for gifted and talented students. Paxtang Elementary School also provides instructional support and guidance counseling services. It is a part of the Central Dauphin School District.
