Boys & Girls Club of Pawtucket is affiliated with the national program of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America. It offers a range of after school programs for children and disadvantaged youth, ages 6 through 18. The programs and activities include kids connection, street smart, kids in control, power hour, family support, career explorers, job ready and keystone club. B&GC of Pawtucket offers five-core program initiatives, including arts, sports and fitness, social skills, character development and leadership development, and education and career development. The club, based in Pawtucket, R.I., also provides prevention programs for youth, including gang, alcohol, drug, tobacco, teen sex and unplanned pregnancies.
