Cold Hardy Palms & Bamboo provides services to both commercial and residential customers, from a simple start up plan to an intricate landscape design. Our palms are conveniently located at Garden Wise Nursery on Johns Island for your viewing or we will be happy to select the palms and bring them to you. Currently we provide the 11 species of palms that are appropriate for the Charleston area. We also carry what we believe is the best clumping bamboo that provides an attractive screen without the fear of taking over your yard. Our highly trained installation crew is led by one of the partners of our company so you can be assured your palms with be installed correctly. Due to this special care in installation we happily provide our customers with a guarantee on all installed palms and bamboo. Our containerized palms as well as the bamboo have been locally grown from seed by Cold Hardy Palms, who we worked with 4 years prior to opening Cold Hardy Palms & Bamboo. This means our palms have experienced Charleston winters unlike many Florida nursery palms which are not acclimated to our cooler winters.
