The North Coast AIDS Project, also known as NorCAP, is a division of the Public Health Branch of the Humboldt County Health and Human Services department. It provides a range of HIV education, prevention, and client and case management solutions. The division administers various educational programs for the prevention of HIV and hepatitis C transmission. The North Coast AIDS Project organizes group, individual and street outreach events and workshops. The division also offers counseling, resource referral and advocacy solutions. It administers the Buddy volunteer program that provides one-on-one emotional and practical support for persons living with HIV/AIDS. The division s professional volunteer services feature legal support and massage services.
