WIC or the Women, Infant and Children program is designed to serve mothers and those who qualify with help providing their children with basic needs like food for their child, nutritional education or referrals for other services like doctors. The Imperial Beach office is part of the San Ysidro Health Center WIC program.
IB Fitness is a large, local, family-owned mega gym that is deeply rooted in the Imperial Beach neighborhood. The spacious and well-appointed gym offers a large number of brand new cardio and strength-training machines, a boxing and sparring area and a full range of workout classes and group workouts. There is also a juice and smoothie bar with baked goods and healthy snacks.
