Bob Melchiorre is owner of the Salon Studios complex in Northfield. His salon is one of many owned and operated by self-employed and insured beauty professionals. Since 1993, the Salon Studios has been providing, as Melchiorre says, ''a world full of beauty professionals under one roof.'' Professionals that work in Salon Studios have a minmum of 10 years -- and as many as 40 years -- of experience in the beauty profession.
