Messinger, III was born in Bastrop, Louisiana. As a youth, he was active in Boy Scouts and later achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. Frank attended Arlington State College, Northeast Louisiana State University, and Louisiana Polytechnic Institute. He also proudly served in the United States Navy. Frank L. Messinger, III is licensed as a Professional Land Surveyor in Louisiana, Arkansas, and Mississippi. He served as President of the Louisiana Society of Professional Surveyors (LSPS). It is noteworthy that Frank is the only person in history to have served as President of LSPS for two consecutive terms (1982-1983). In 1996, he was appointed to serve as a member on the Louisiana Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors Board. He is a member of the Masonic Lodge and the Episcopal Church. Frank is currently Vice President of Messinger & Associates, Inc. Jeffrey M. Messinger would soon follow the path of his predecessors to join the family business. In Jeffrey’s active participation in scouting, he became a third generation Eagle Scout. He attended Louisiana Tech and Northeast Louisiana University, graduating in 1999. Jeffrey M. Messinger is licensed as a Professional Land Surveyor in Louisiana and Mississippi. Jeffrey is currently President of Messinger & Associates, Inc. From its inception in 1945, Messinger & Associates, Inc. has acquired the records of eleven surveyors that practiced in the Northeast Region of Louisiana from 1874 to 2006. As the oldest family owned surveying firm in Northeast Louisiana, we are committed to serving this area and maintaining the client relationships that have helped establish our business and reputation throughout the years.
