Founded in 1944, Ferguson Construction Company is located in Lovington, N.M., and is a full-service oil and gas construction company. Formerly it was known as Ferguson Welding Service. It provides its employees with the resources, training to achieve an accident free workplace. Its trained, designated and authorized personnel and supervisors operate its equipment. The firm s inventory of equipment includes backhoes, ditchers, side booms, forklifts, maintainers, excavators, dozers, mini padders and boring machines. Its training program includes classroom instruction and operational instruction on each specific type of equipment to be utilized by various employees. Classroom instruction will consist of equipment operation, equipment maintenance, including lubrication charts, daily checklists and equipment safety. Ferguson Construction Company also conducts refresher courses every three years for recertification of operator certification.
