EOG Resources, formerly known as Enron Oil & Gas Company, is an independent oil and natural gas company. The company specializes in the extraction and production of oil and natural gas, and it also provides support activities for mining. It has more than 1,500 employees and owns and operates various oil and natural gas resources and reserves throughout the United States, such as the Fort Worth Basin, Uinta Basin, Powder River Basin, Anadarko Basin, San Joaquin Basin and East Texas Salt Basin.
