Pokonobe Industries is located on a residential stretch of 26th Street just north of Ocean Park. Pokonobe supplies pharmaceutical, cosmetic and food industry companies with refined and unrefined seed oils, nut oils and vegetable oils. In business since 1984, Pokonobe supervises all processes in manufacturing and testing, regardless of the distributor or representative. Most oils are nitrogen-packed for longevity. Some are organic. The company does NOT deal in animal or fish oils. Examples of oils produced are apricot, flaxseed, avocado, cottonseed, brazil nut, pumpkinseed and rice bran.
