Schmucker Middle School, established in 1968, serves the educational needs of students in grades six through eight. The school has an enrollment of more than 900 students and has been awarded with the Indiana Four Star School status several times. It also has been recognized as an Indiana Blue Ribbon School. It offers educational programs in math, science, social studies and language arts. The school colors are gold and blue and its mascot is the Spartans. Its special facilities include field house, television studio, modular industrial technology lab, learning technology center, computer labs, portable lap top computer lab, fitness room, outdoor recreation areas and large group instruction room. Schmucker Middle School is a part of the Penn-Harris-Madison School Corporation and is located in Mishawaka, Ind.
