The service we provide takes many forms. It ranges from early intervention, which can begin the day a child comes home from the hospital, to our seniors. The services we provide are throughout the life span.Once upon a time, the Erie County Board of Developmental Disabilities was known for its school and its sheltered workshop. Today, children are being mainstreamed into public schools and adults are working in the community, or receiving adult day supports through a provider of their choice. We have made great strides in enhancing the quality of life for individuals. Our supports are unique and the approach is different from other county Boards of D.D. This website was designed to help guide you through the services provided by the Erie County Board of Developmental Disabilities. It is our hope that you find them helpful.
