Dr. Jonathan Gottlieb is a board-certified orthopedic spine surgeon serving patients in South Miami, Florida. He offers a number of services to his patients at Minimally Invasive Spine Center of South Florida, including treatment for spinal stenosis, back pain, radiculopathy, and much more. Dr. Gottlieb earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Florida. He later studied medicine at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. After graduating with his Doctor of Medicine, Dr. Gottlieb went on to complete his residency in orthopedic surgery at Jackson Memorial Hospital. He completed a fellowship in spinal surgery at the Charlotte Spine Center. During his career, Dr. Gottlieb has contributed to several articles published in peer-reviewed journals. He has also participated in the operation of clinical trials. He has significant experience treating patients, and he uses the knowledge he has gained to provide every patient with the best quality of care. He also served as an Assistant Professor at the University of Miami School of Medicine for six years. Dr. Gottlieb is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Medical Association, North American Spine Society, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and Florida Orthopaedic Society. The finest in pediatric care is now conveniently available at the Nicklaus Children’s Aventura Care Center. Physicians employed by Pediatric Specialists of America, part of Miami Children’s Health System, provide subspecialty consultation services for children from birth to 20 years of age. In addition to Pediatric Subspecialists, nutritional consulations are also available at this center. Please call for hours. Diagnostic Services include: Electroencephalogram (EEG) EKG Echocardiograms X-ray All diagnostic services require a prescription.
As an orthopaedic surgeon and sports medicine specialist, Dr. Steven Gorin, DO, is passionate about helping his patients of all ages at the Institute of Sports Medicine & Orthopaedics maintain active and healthy lives. To this end, Dr. Gorin offers the latest therapies and surgical techniques to his patients in the North Miami, Florida, community. An avid sports enthusiast, Dr. Gorin’s goal is to help his patients recover from shoulder, hip, knee, and ankle injuries and get back to their pre-injury level of activity. Dr. Gorin began his higher education at Sargent College at Boston University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in human physiology in 1994. He went on to earn a master’s degree in sports medicine from the University of Miami in 1996 and his doctor of osteopathic medicine, or DO, from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, in 2000. For his training, Dr. Gorin completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery in 2005 at the Medical Center of Independence in Independence, Missouri. Not stopping there, Dr. Gorin received a fellowship in orthopaedic sports medicine and stem cell therapies. Dr. Gorin is certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and he’s an active member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery, the American Osteopathic Association of Orthopaedics, the Arthroscopy Association of North America, and the International Society of Arthroscopy, Knee Surgery and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine. Dr. Gorin has served as a physician for many athletic teams and clubs and he’s a sports medicine practitioner for USA Soccer Youth.
