After earning his doctorate, Dr. Patel served as chief resident at Mercy Hospital/Barry University Foot and Ankle Institute. His residency honed his skills in wound care, sports medicine, reconstruction, traumatic injury, regenerative medicine, and diabetic limb salvage. He and his residency team also treated elite Miami Heat and Barry University athletes. Dr. Patel is board-qualified by the American Board of Foot Surgery to practice podiatric medicine and surgery in Florida. He continually improves his knowledge and training by attending conferences and workshops. Dr. Patel serves as an associate at Florida Foot and Ankle Associates and is the founder of his own podiatric practice near Boca Raton Regional Hospital.
