Founded in 1899 and headquartered in Hartsville, S.C., Sonoco is a global manufacturer of industrial and consumer products and a provider of packaging services. Among Sonocos largest products are engineered carriers, consisting of tubes and cores. These products are used for winding and transporting such items as textiles, paper, film, foil and tape.
