Year-round activities are available at the 1,549-acre Hudson Mills Metropark. Cross-country ski trails are available throughout the winter months. The park also has an 18-hole, par-72 golf course; a bike and hiking trail; and many spots along the Huron River for shoreline and fly fishing. The park also has softball diamonds and soccer fields.
Charles L. Bowers School Farm is an educational farm for the Bloomfield Hills School District. It offers instruction and training in agri-science through classes, tours and laboratory work that is tailored to specific age groups. These hands-on programs are designed to further the knowledge of students of all ages.
Pinckney State Recreation Area is an over 11,000 acre facility offering lots of great amenities and activities. The park offers hiking trails, mountain biking trails, camping, fishing, swimming, boat rentals, hunting and lots of great opportunities to explore and enjoy the outdoors
Community Sports Park is located on the west side of Keith Rd., between Commerce and Willow roads. Keith Elementary School is its neighbor to the south. The park features three ball fields, the Jeff Raben Soccer Field, and tennis courts. There is also a picnic shelter and restroom building. Each summer, Community Sports Park serves as the home of the West Bloomfield Senior Softball teams that play in the Oakland County Senior League. Adult softball teams also play at the park during the summer.
Manresa Jesuit Retreat House specializes in conference and group retreats. Since 1926, Manresa has offered up its professionally manicured grounds that feature paths, statuary and gardens. The Retreat House also hosts mass, yoga classes, picnics, concerts and other events.
