Lehigh County's bureau of parks and recreation develops and manages about 2,500 acres of county parks and open space. Among the parks it manages are several in South Whitehall, including Cedar Creek Parkway East, Cedar Creek Parkway West and the Lehigh County sports fields complex.
Grange Park is an outdoor recreational facility open to use by the general public in the Upper Macungie area. The park features a pavilion, with a capacity of 100 people, which can be rented by the day; rental fees are reduced for residents. Lone Lane Park is located at Schantz Road adjacent to the Upper Macungie EMS complex.
