Alum Springs Park is a small, wooded park near the intersection of Alum Springs Road and Jefferson Davis Highway. It holds a playground for kids, and maintains a system of unpaved hiking trails. The trails follow a quietly babbling stream and up rocky outcroppings. Motorists, be warned: All vehicles must cross a small stream to gain access to the larger inner parking lot.
