Local lodge #1899 of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks is open daily to its private members. The building has a large event room that can be rented by members of the public. The lodge also hosts many dinners and charitable events that the public is welcome to attend.
KidZone offers a facility for indoor play and classes for children between ages 2 and 8. It offers open playtimes, activities such as ceramic pottery painting, and classes such as Mommy & Me Yoga, Yoga Kidz, Musical Kidz, Little and Young Amigos for learning Spanish, and Cookin' Kidz. The facility may be rented for private parties.
Located in South Kingstown's Quo Vadis Plaza, Patticakes is an artisan bakery that offers area residents a unique selection of freshly-prepared cupakes, cookies, whoopie pies and more. Patticakes features a rotating selection of flavors, including classics such as triple chocolate, red velvet and carrot, as well as and fun flavors like raspberry lemonade, strawberry sundae, strawberry rhubarb, peanut butter cup and cookies and cream. The bakery is also available to craft specialty wedding and celebration cakes.
Blithewold Mansion, Gardens & Arboretum is a grand estate overlooking Bristol Harbor. This Queen Anne mansion has been kept well maintained in order to preserve its turn-of-the-20th-century style. The gardens and enclosed woodland feature an abundance of indigenous plant life, a rock garden and a variety of trees. Blithewold hosts an education summer camp, where children are taught botany, wildlife and environmental preservation. The mansion is available to be rented for special private events rental. The Kinney Bungalow is an historic home dating back to 1899 and situated on the Sunset Farm property. The home can be rented for weddings, birthday parties, dances, concerts, classes, lectures and other events. It has a seating capacity of 150 people and has ample space for a dance floor and DJ or musicians. Buffet-style and plated dinner services are available.
The Towers, a landmark of the Narragansett waterfront, is all that remains of the Narragansett Pier Casino, which was constructed from 1883 to 1886. A fire at the turn of the century destroyed the casino, but the Towers survived. In the 1950s, the property was turned over to the state and deeded to the town.
