Indiana University School of Medicine, founded in 1903 and located in Indianapolis, offers medical programs to students. The school has more then 60 clinical departments and specialty divisions. The departments and divisions comprise anatomy and cell biology, anesthesia, biochemistry and molecular biology, emergency medicine, neurology, obstetrics and gynecology, dermatology, ophthalmology, orthopedic surgery, pathology, and pediatrics. The departments also include pharmacology and toxicology, physical medicine and rehabilitation, public health, radiation oncology, radiology, surgery, and urology. Other schools at the university include the school of allied health, school of dentistry, school of nursing, and school of optometry. The university has nine campuses throughout Indiana. The main campus is in Indianapolis, with centers in Bloomington, Evansville, Fort Wayne, Gary, Muncie, South Bend, Terre Haute, and West Lafayette, Ind.
