Acadia Repertory Theatre, established in 1973, is a live professional theatre located on Mount Desert Island, Maine. The theatre has a seating capacity of more than 140 and provides a mix of comedies, dramas, mysteries and children s programs. The theatre company plays selected programs for each season and offer discounts ranging from 25-40 percent on patron and regular seasonal subscriptions. It also stages a complete work of playwright William Shakespeare. The firm offers online performance schedule and ticket reservation services for various categories of audience including children and adults. Acadia Repertory Theatre undertakes its hiring through the New England Theatre Conference in the Boston area each March. Its interns perform in childrens theatre program show, which is performed twice a week during the season.
