Rejoti Publishing & Productions publishes books, poetry, newsletters, and chapbook anthologies under its literary wing. The organization also offers performing and theater workshops that are open to the public. Rejoti was founded in 1983 by Veona and Reggie Thomas, and is currently run by Veona Thomas.
This private music school in a quiet residential area offers one-on-one instruction in voice, violin, piano, flute and oboe. The students include many professional performers from the New York metropolitan area.
Owner Jeanne Donato, a former concert violinist, and voice trainer Joan DeCaro comprise the faculty. The two women have also published a book on voice technique entitled, The Way to Sing: Secrets of Bel Canto. Donato explains that the book is based on techniques developed by a renowned voice teacher, the late Ugo DeCaro, and asserts that it is the rare person who can't learn to improve their singing voice with the help of this book.
