The Navigators is a Christian organization that specializes in text-based tools of evangelism. The Navigators was founded in the 1930s by a young Californian, Dawson Trotman. Tens of thousands of people worldwide interact with the various ministries of The Navigators. Internationally, more than 3,800 Navigator staff of 60-plus nationalities serve in more than 100 countries. Since its inception, certain values have characterized employees and volunteers of The Navigators: the passion to know and love Jesus Christ; the place of a divine being in modern life; the Bible as foundational to life and ministry; the worth, dignity and potential of all persons; personal transformation to Christlikeness; attempting to practice Christianity amongst the nonreligious; and the evangelizing of nonreligious people. Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association was founded in 1936 and is located in Colorado Springs, Colo. Its staff consists more than 60 and also operates the ProRodeo Hall of Fame and Museum of the American Cowboy. It is a member of the American Junior Rodeo Association, the Dodge National Circuit Finals Rodeo, the National Finals Rodeo, the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association and the National High School Rodeo Association. The association is a professional rodeo and sanctions more than 650 rodeos annually in over 40 states. The personnel working a rodeo, including bullfighters who help bull riders to escape the powerful rodeo bull to entertain the crowds. The association has more than 6,000 cowboys.
