Founded in 2003, Our Lady of the Alleghenies Residence is an assisted living facility for senior citizens. The facility provides companionship and personal assistance services. It maintains more than 45 units, including private, one-bedroom and studio apartments that feature kitchenettes with microwaves and refrigerators. The apartments are equipped with emergency call systems in living quarters and bathrooms. Our Lady of the Alleghenies Residence offers 24-hour nursing staff support and security services. The facility provides personal assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming and personal hygiene. It also offers housekeeping and medication monitoring services. Our Lady of the Alleghenies Residence is a part of Garvey Manor, which is a Catholic, long-term care complex for senior citizens. The parent organization is sponsored by the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm.
