About Studio Map & Location About Studio The Centered Body Potrero Hill Studio is located in a cozy corner storefront with a spectacular view of downtown and the bay. The comfortable neighborhood setting has easy street parking and is close to public transportation. The Studio is fully equipped with state-of-the-art Pilates equipment including reformers, cadillac, springboards, Pilates chairs, large barrel, stability balls, rollers, rings, mats, and more. There is a small changing area. Water, green tea, and hand towels are provided. SERVICES We offer one-on-one private training, semi-private training, and small group classes. We have programs for sports-specific conditioning, general health & fitness, pre & post-natal conditioning, and rehabilitation. Pilates can be adapted to any age or fitness level. It is gentle enough for rehabilitation, yet challenging enough for the strongest of athletes. Our teachers will help you reach your goals and encourage you to achieve your potential. Centered Body Pilates Method of exercise is a contemporary approach to Pilates that helps you achieve a longer, leaner, and more streamlined body shape, working from the inside out. CENTERED BODY HISTORY Centered Body was founded in 2003 by Avenne McBride and Oona Nelson. Friends through equestrian sports, Avenne introduced Pilates to Oona in 1994 and shortly after Oona was hooked. They were both Pilates students before becoming Pilates teachers.
