This is a Mormon church shared by nine units. The people who gather here come from Orangevale, Folsom and Citrus Heights. Each unit has an average of 500 members. All youth programs are run through the Roseville branch of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Pioneer Baptist Church is a friendly church in Citrus Heights. On Sunday at 5pm, there is youth group. Every third Sunday, the church has a Sierra Hills Care Center Service. Every Tuesday at 6:30pm, the church has its Community Impact program. Bible study and prayer service are on Wednesday at 7pm and volunteers can clean the church every Saturday at 6:30pm. Every second Saturday is the men's breakfast at Waffle Square. The church wishes to provide the community with a place to grow, learn and call home.
Friends Church is a Christ-centered, Bible-based and spirit-directed church. It believes in loving God, loving people, and loving life. It has a Sunday school, a day care program, and a pre-school. There is a summer camp for junior high students, and a youth group for high school students. There is a chili cook-off for men, and the church is involved in mission work both locally and abroad.
Antelope Road Christian Fellowship is a non-denominational Christian fellowship church. The church has many programs for children. On Tuesdays there is a prayer meeting at 10am in the lighthouse room and open gym and youth group from 6:30pm to 8pm. Wednesday evenings are soup and bread dinner with adult Bible study. Thursday evenings are for open gym and youth group. Saturday mornings are for prayer meetings in the lighthouse room. The church preaches love and acceptance and welcomes you to join them in celebration of God and Jesus Christ.
St Mark's is a Lutheran church and school serving Citrus Heights, California. The mission of the school is to glorify God, grow in His word, and go with the gospel. The goal of the school is to mold children into children of God by focusing on spirit, intellect, the body and social skills, all godly principles. The school has a Lion's Club, Cub Club, Summer Youth Programs, FACES program, youth groups, a basketball team, volleyball team, and track and field team. The church holds Bible study sessions for adults and children, as well as worship services.
Ascension Lutheran Church is a bible-centered, evangelical, confessional church in Citrus Heights. It believes in teaching the word of Jesus Christ to bring the power of Jesus to the people. There is a traditional service, a contemporary service and a combined service on Sunday. Nursery service is available during those times. There are youth programs led by youth director Sean Carpenter. There also a preschool for children aged two to five.
This is a Methodist church with a mainly Korean membership that holds services in Korean. It features a day care center and a playground.
This is a non-denominational Christian church that follows the teachings of the New Testament. The church holds many youth programs, including Vacation Bible School and Sierra Bible Camp. The church also has custom t-shirts available for sale. Church of Christ supports foreign missions including missions in Ethiopia, the Philippines, India and Malawi. The church believes in honoring God through prayer, worship and teaching His word.
Advent Lutheran Church is a church that accepts everyone. They welcome new visitors and promise not to make them stand up or embarrass them. There is a nursery and child care center on the property. They have events like chili cook-offs, camp outs and costume parties. There is a men's chorus, sanctuary choir, praise band and bell choir.
Faith Bible Church's mission is to glorify God by leading people to Jesus. The church believes in the holy scriptures and one God, which exists as three entities: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Church of The Harvest is a non-denominational church and school that welcomes guests. Life groups are held every Wednesday night. The church hosts REACH youth programs. Next to the main room is a multipurpose room and dance studio. In addition to being a church, Church of the Harvest is also a school for 2nd through 12th grades and has PE classes and art classes. It also uses the A.C.E. program. The church is involved in weekly local missions, which involve talking to people on the street.
