The soaring chapel is a local landmark. Surrounding it is a complex of several buildings that includes the original sanctuary (built in 1925), a preschool and an activity center, as well as two playgrounds. There are both traditional and contemporary Sunday services, and a host of study groups and ministries for kids, youths and adults.
Pastor Timothy Cole performs worship service each Sunday at this neighborhood church. There are programs for kids from ages three years to sixth grade and youth from middle to high school. The church also has several musical groups, including a forty-voice choir. Grace Bible Church supports various local charity groups and missionary programs abroad.
The day school serves children ages 2 through pre-kindergarten, and is located on the church campus. Children receive an early-childhood education plus chapel, Spanish, music and art. Healthy snacks are provided daily. There is a fenced-in playground for children to have outdoor activities.
An Evangelical Covenant Church, Faith Covenant meets every Sunday at 10am for services. In addition to its services, Faith Covenant also offers youth group and Bible study programs during the week. Members also meet for Sunday picnics and other activities, including softball games, as well as practice groups for diverse activities such as singing.
In the midst of the Gulfport residential neighborhood, this chapel features a soaring Eastern-style steeple. Pastor Jerry Partney conducts worship services every Sunday, and various Bible study and youth groups meet throughout the week. The church runs Sophie's Attic, a thrift shop that raises money for local charitable causes.
This historic Catholic church has been serving the St. Petersburg community for more than 80 years. It offers masses daily and three times on Sunday. St. Mary also provides wedding, funeral, baptism, confirmation and reconciliation classes and services.
The Baha'i Center is a small center located in the center of downtown St. Petersburg.Members of the Baha'i faith meet here for Sunday services and classes are held to introduce new and prospective members as well as the general public to the faith every Tuesday. The center also maintains a library of books and videos that are available to the public.
Mount Zion Progressive Missionary Baptist Church was founded by a group of community leaders, and its stated mission is to bring about “effective change” in the community by going “further in and deeper down.”
Future plans for Mt. Zion include a private Christian school, job training, housing for seniors, internal missions, a halfway house for inmates released from correctional facilities, drug prevention/rehabilitation and parenting programs, to name a few.

Special groups meet throughout the week, including youth, education, hospitality and visitation ministries, as well as a substance abuse support group. There's a chapel and an activities building.
First United Methodist Church congregates in a large, historic building directly across the street from Williams Park. The church holds three regular services on Sunday, both in traditional and contemporary styles. Throughout the week, the church is active with preschool and study groups.
