St. Luke's Parish Center teaches its congregation to live joyfully through faith and to serve God. The parish hosts ministries for music, pastors and leadership, and has educational programs for children in preschool to high school.
St. Luke the Evangelist Church is the area's only Roman Catholic church. The structure was built in 1928 and underwent extensive renovations in 1994. The original St. Luke's church was built at the same location in 1889, but the wood-framed structure burned in the early 1920's. The church sits at the intersection of Ruggles and West Main streets. The parish rectory is situated next to the church on West Main Street. The Parish Center, which includes a function hall and classrooms, sits behind the church on Ruggles Street.
New Hope Chapel is a non-denominational Christian church that sits one block north of the Westborough downtown rotary. Music is an important part of the church and musicians within the congregation have written music and established a following at www.newhopemusic.com. New Hope Chapel also involves itself in the community with its PLOW (Project Love on Westborough) program, doing community service within the town and surrounding areas.
Located at the junction of West Main and Nourse streets, the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church sits to the north of Route 30. The church is a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America. It has served the Westborough community since 1960. A bonus for young families worshipping at the 9am and 10:45am Sunday services is professionally staffed childcare.
The Unitarian Universalist Church of Westborough is a multi-faith house of worship on the corner of West Main and Ruggles streets. It is one of the three churches that stand as landmarks at the intersection. Services at the church take place between September and June at 10:30 a.m. Sundays. St. Stephen's Episcopal Church is situated near the Westborough High School. Sunday services are held at 8am and 9:30am. Music is performed at the 9:30am service. The Episcopal church in Westborough dates back to 1872. The first church building was erected in 1899 at 71 West Main Street. The current church was built in the 1950s.
Chapel of the Cross is a biblically-based church located in Westborough. This church also provides children services for ages K-5th grade and a room for infants and toddlers during the services.
Locals often identify the First United Methodist Church as "the church across the street from the golf course." The First United Methodist Church as it stands today has been serving Westborough since 1965, but its roots in town date back to 1858, when it served the community from the current New Hope Chapel building. The congregation totals over 1,000 in number with an estimated 400 people attending worship services each Sunday. Sunday services take place at 9am, 10:30am and 5:30pm.
