Calvary Christian School offers various academic and extracurricular activities to children in prekindergarten through grade 12. The school was opened by Pastor Kelly in 1973 to provide Christian education to children. The school provides an atmosphere that allows its students to gain knowledge, skills and wisdom. Its curriculum includes English, literary classics, music, art, Bible, chorus, drama, history, social studies, and geography. It also offers environmental science, physics, earth and life science, and physical science. The school also provides before and after school day care, and extended care. The school is affiliated to the American Association of Christian Schools, and North Carolina Christian School Association. Calvary Christian School is located in Southern Pines, N.C.
