Today the congregation believes in Jesus Christ as savior, and regular worship service takes place in the sanctuary every Sunday morning at 9:30, with Sunday school classes for young people right after the Children's Message part of the service.

Coffee Hour follows downstairs in Fellowship Hall. Nursery Care is offered during the service for all children under 3 years of age.

Visitors and new members are always welcome. Communion is offered twice a month, on alternating Sundays.

The Farmingdale Christian Church dates back to 1970, when a Farmingdale couple began a bible study group. Since then the church has grown and has been  modeled after the churches that existed in the Book of Acts. It is a non-denominational born-again, group of Christians and community members are guided by the principles in the Bible. The church hosts study groups, youth programs, family nights and Sunday school.

St Kilian's has a long, rich history in Farmingdale, dating back to 1896 under the church's first pastor Rev. Father Gerard Spielmann. The church underwent a renovation as it approached the centennial celebration in 1995, where elements of the original church were preserved but additions were added to modernize it.

Today the church is led by Pastor Rev. Msgr. Michael P. Flynn and hosts many ministries, a food pantry, the La Salle Regional School and a religious education program.

The church originally began as the Farmingdale Baptist Church. It was started by the Manhattan Bible Chapel in 1960. More than 40 years later, Pastor Sterling and his wife, Jenna, moved to Long Island to begin a church called Crossroads Church and the two churches ultimately combined. Crossroads Church opened in 2006 with the mission of "compassion without compromise." The church works to be a "culturally relevant Christian church" through bible groups, youth activities and Sunday worship.
