The Department of Surgery at Sound Shore Medical Center of Westchester is located on the third floor of the main building. The department includes a staff of top surgeons who provide the highest level of care with state-of-the-art equipment. Most of the surgeons are board certified, and the Department of Surgery offers expertise in a wide range of areas, from neurology to orthopedics, spinal to reconstructive surgery.
Make a sharp turn off of busy North Avenue and you will quickly reach St. Catherine AME Zion Church. The church, which has been around since 1841, offers Sunday school at 9:30am and worship service at 1oam on Sundays.
The church is great for children and young adults, as there are a range of programs offered for youth. Kids ages 5-17 are welcome to attend Junior Church, which is tailored to a younger crowd, at 11am on Sundays. Many additional prayer meetings and Bible study groups are active in the congregation.
St. Luke's church has Sunday worship at 10am with Holy Communion offered at every service. Sunday school for kids preschool through 9th grade is also offered at 10am. The church has a vibrant community with seasonal outings and events such as Sunday school picnics, holiday boutiques, breakfasts and dinners, Christmas and Easter pageants, family nights and retreats. In addition to adult and youth choirs, the chuch is also active in community service, and there are ways to get involved through Habitat for Humanity. Alcoholics Anonymous meetings are offered on Saturdays and Mondays.
Located on Locust Ave., near busy Main street, the Church of God of New Rochelle has many prayer services. Sunday school is available at 10am, with morning worship at 11:30am. On Monday evenings there is Bible study at 7:30pm (except November-January). On Wednesday nights there is a prayer walk at 7:30 and Fridays is youth night at 6:30pm.
New York Covenant Church was founded in 1998 by Pastor David Holder and his wife, Tarshia. The church has a weekly Sunday service and provides many events, discussions and ministries for its members. Some of the ministries include helping the homeless and hungry, providing guidance to preteens and teens and encouraging local involvement in music and dance. New York Covenant Church moved to its Main Street location in 2004.
Blessed Sacrament Church is a Roman Catholic Church that serves parishioners in New Rochelle and surrounding areas. The church offers daily services and religious education. It also owns and operates a grammar school and high school that are part of the Blessed Sacrament Parish. Adorations take place on the first Friday of the month, from 12:45pm to 4:30pm.
St. John's Episcopal Church is a Westchester County Historical Landmark (it was constructed in 1859).
This charming church is located in the north end of New Rochelle at the intersection of Wilmot Road, Mill Road and North Avenue.
Since 1994, the church has been headed since by The Rev. Dr. Rayner W. Hesse, Jr., also known as "Rusty." Sermons are on Sunday from 9:30am - 11am. Services prominently feature music and hymns.

Established in 1913, the Holy Family Parish has grown from humble beginnings into one of the larger Catholic communities in the area. Its wonderous church building can be found in downtown's north side at the corner of Mayflower Avenue and Clove Road. Rev. Msgr. John J. Mescali is the Pastor Emeritus that leads the congregation in mass. Other services include religious education, bible studies and youth ministies.
Located on Church Street, the Master's Hand has its own parking lot and building for worship. Service is on Sundays at 10:30am. There are separate worship services available for women's ministry, men's ministry and children's ministry during the week. On a busy corner of North Avenue in Wykagyl sits the Christ United Methodist Church. Rev. Denise Smartt-Sears leads worship on Sundays at 10am. The church is also home to the Weekday Nursery School.
The Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church has a robust congregation. They are known around New Rochelle for their elaborate and highly successful Greek Festivals once a year in the fall. The church also runs groups for women, married couples, seniors and kids.
Services are every day at 9:30 a.m. (Orthros) and 10-11 a.m. (Liturgy). On Sundays, there is fellowship and coffee in the community center immediately following the Divine Liturgy.
