The Salvation Army is a multifaceted organization serving the community in the name of Jesus. This particular branch offers church services on Sundays and other activities throughout the week including an exercise program for seniors, a men's fraternity get-together, a ladies group and a dinner night. AA hosts meetings here as well.
St. Francis-In-The Fields Episcopal Church is a place of worship that services its congregation and the community. Sunday school is available in the morning. Programs include outreach programs and chior group for men and women.
Pastor Robert Scott Jones presides over the St. Paul's Baptist Church. St. Paul's is the longest standing Baptist Church of African American heritage in Chester County. St. Paul's believes in the Holy Scriptures as infallible, Jesus as both God and man, and the Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, together as one. If you are interested in becoming a member of the church, there is a Visitor Assimilation process whereby you will partner with someone who personally introduces you to St. Paul's ministries, programs and other members. St. Paul's has an outreach program that reaches from West Chester and surrounding areas to lands as far as South Africa.
