It offers a diverse religious education experience for children, a dynamic youth group for high school age young people, and childcare for the youngest.
The church community offers many opportunities for doing good in the world, while supporting congregation members who need assistance.
Our Sharing Locker continues to provide much needed assistance to families who are experiencing economic challenges by holding a non-food item ‘shopping day pantry’ once a month.

St. Mary's Episcopal Church is a Christian worship community that blends the traditional and the innovative. The church is rich in history with the cornerstone being laid in 1847. Located on the church's 90 acres is the Gibbs House, the rectory, the parish house, the churchyard and St. Mary's Episcopal Church.
First Baptist Church of East Greenwich is a warm and welcoming congregation that worships according to the American Baptist tradition. The congregation meets in a beautiful, late Victorian building in downtown East Greenwich. The Church is known in town for its very popular May Breakfast, a celebration of spring and good eats.
The Baptists are the oldest Christian denomination in continuous existence in East Greenwich. First Baptist Church regularly collaborates with other local religious organizations to provide food and care for those in need. The Church is also active beyond East Greenwich, sending a group from the parish on a mission trip to the Dominican Republic every other year.
St. Luke's Episcopal Church is a large, vibrant parish with a long history. Founded in 1834, today the church features two services on Sunday, as well as morning prayer Tuesday through Thursday, and a healing service on Tuesday.
St. Luke's is known for its excellent music program. In addition to an adult choir and a handbell choir, the church has two children's choirs and is affiliated with the Royal School of Church Music.
There is a full church school, including the Journey to Adulthood program for teenagers. Every other year, a class makes a mission trip to the Dominican Republic.
In recent years, the church increased its adult offerings to include a men's group, a book group and a film group, among other offerings.
The church itself dates back to 1875 and it contains many beautiful stained glass windows and a bell tower. The distinctive steeple is part of the skyline of East Greenwich.
The Portsmouth United Methodist Church was founded in 1793 along East Main Road. The church is visible by its white steeple. The church shares its location with the Portsmouth Nursery School, which is located in the back.
