Holiday Park is one of the city of Carlsbad's 17 public parks and is located near City Hall in the Barrio neighborhood. The park features a gazebo, horse show pits, public restrooms, picnic areas with barbecues and a children's play area with a sand lot. The Scout and Kruger houses are also located here. This park is one of the city's oldest.
This park sits at the city's center and at nearly six acres, is the largest in Imperial Beach.
A stage and shade area occupy space next to the playground and swings while on the park's edges are the Imperial Beach Senior Center and the library. There's plenty of grass for football, soccer or other games. There are no public restrooms.
Across the street is the sheriff's station, City Hall and the Imperial Beach Fire Department. The Boys and Girls Club of South County, Imperial Beach is directly north of the park.
Crestmont Park users can enjoy shade from the park's many oak trees, ballfields, a covered picnic pavilion, clean restroom facilities and children's playground equipment, in addition to winding pathways that stretch around the perimeter. This neighborhood park can be found off of Champion Oaks Drive, adjacent to Crestmont Elementary.
You'll find Elliot Park off of Cushendall Drive near Junction and Woodcreek Oaks Boulevards. This suburban recreational area welcomes the entire family, providing covered picnic areas, children's playgrounds, clean restroom facilities, and plenty of off-street parking. Park users also enjoy a baseball/softball diamond, soccer field, and a full-court for basketball.
Jordan Family Park, formerly known as Vista Creek Park, is ideal for parents with children, dog owners and anyone wanting to get some outdoor exercise. The playground features swings, slides, climbing equipment and a seesaw. The remainder of the park includes horseshoes and exercise equipment for teens and adults.
