Beechwood School is one of the three schools which, along with Deerfield and Governor Livingston, make up the Mountainside school district.
Students from pre-kindergarten to 2nd grade attend Beechwood before moving on to Deerfield and then to Governor Livingston for high school.

The Our Lady of Lourdes facility in Mountainside provides Kindergarten and preschool classes, while classes for higher grades are at the campus in Westfield.
