Tutor Time is a private school that has different programs for various ages of children. It accepts ages from 6 weeks up until 12 years old. Its programs are based on teaching children life skills, socialization, problem solving and other things that will work with their strengths and help them to improve their weaknesses.
Since 1993, Magical Garden has been an early childhood learning center. The preschool is family-owned, with a certified staff who provide a fun, safe learning environment for Smithtown youngsters. The program of instruction focuses on the social, emotional and intellectual development of each child.
All of the teachers are CPR-trained and certified in early education. Children do not need to be potty trained to enroll. Programs available include lunch, computers, music, Spanish, language arts, cooking, arts & crafts, sports & games and story time. St. Andrews Cooperative Nursery School offers programs for children ages 2-4. Programs incorporate free play, crafts, indoor and outdoor play, field trips, story and snack times, letter recognition and writing, calendar skills, music appreciation and science. As a cooperative, parents are highly interactive and participate in many of their kid's learning experiences.
