Acworth Presbyterian Church is located on the corner of Church Street and Carnes Street in downtown Acworth. The building is brick with a tall bell tower over the front entrance. The interior features a traditional set-up with rows of pews facing a main stage and pulpit area. Organizationally, the church is part of the Cherokee Presbytery, the Synod of the South Atlantic and the Presbyterian Church of the USA. The church is led by Reverend Fred Boozer, who took over in 2008.
Mars Hill is a Presbyterian church that offers the community traditional and contemporary services. The church also has a nursery for parents with children under 4 years of age, and Sunday school for all ages.
