We at Refuge Church believe that this body has been set apart by God to be an accurate and relevant expression of His Power and Grace;and has been entrusted with the propagation of the Gospel of Salvation through Jesus Christ, His only Son. We will endeavor to align this body as an integral part of the City Church to which it has been called;A Lighthouse for the Salvation of the lost, to the healing of the broken, to be a Place of Refuge to the outcast and a Fellowship of Life to the believer. Embracing the Full Gospel of Christ we will continue to build, equip and commission a fellowship of Christ-like character bearing the responsibility to nurture and encourage the local body while training and releasing 21st Century Disciples who are Christ-Centered, Community-Minded, and Kingdom Driven touching the mission fields of Manteca, the Great Central Valley, the State of California and the Nations of the World with the unction and zeal of the Holy Spirit. These beliefs and values will be evidenced through fervent commitment to: The furtherance of Spirit-Anointed worship and intercession;The Salvation of the lost;The affirming and releasing of Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers in accordance with Ephesians 4;The continued development (planning and construction) of adequate ministry and conference facilities;A united, relationship-driven body;and Our unconditional and passionate pursuit of His presence. Based on this declaration of faith and purpose we will boldly follow the direction of the Holy Spirit into the millennial harvest raising high the banner of Righteousness and Truth by the Power of Almighty God.
