First Years Childcare Centers offers daycare, preschool and kindergarten. While the building on South Main Street may appear small, there are large open play areas with art stations, child-sized desks, tables and sinks. The outdoor resembles more of a park than a confined backyard with a playground. All teachers at the daycare have worked here a minimum of ten years, including some for 20 years. Hot lunches are also available for children.
Global Village Montessori accepts children 2 to 6 years old. Using the Montessori program, the preschool focuses on reading, writing, science, math, culture, everyday activities, touch and feel. The facility is open for tours during weekdays, through appointments or walk-ins.
At Crescent Montessori School, toddlers, preschoolers and kindergarteners are challenged to grow in exciting ways. A kindergarten graduate from Crescent can be expected to count to 1,000, write simple sentences in paragraph form and identify complex geometric shapes. They are also encouraged to learn how to master independent tasks such as tying a shoe, sweeping and filling a container with water.

Milpitas Discoveryland is associated with Milpitas Adventist Church and Foothill Adventist School. And just as its associate organizations, Milpitas Discoveryland strongly focuses on building a strong spiritual foundation by incorporating God into lesson plans and daily activities. Children will find that as they are challenged academically and are also being nurtured with family-like care.
Monarch Christian Schools offers a rainbow of services and programs. Young children are taught language, science, math and more using the Montessori method. The kindergarten program runs all day with extended services. Monarch Christian Schools also offer a variety of field trips and lessons in their themed summer sessions.

Golden Harvest Montessori School capitalizes on a child's senses to launch them into a world of independent learning. Children learn at their own pace by manipulating letters, numbers and shapes that have different textures, weights and sizes. Through this approach, children are fully immersed in "experiencing" the lesson instead of just learning through observation and memorization.
Tender Heart Childkare and Pre-School is a full-service child care facility that offers a safe and nurturing environment where kids can develop and grow. Providing programs for students ages six weeks to five years old, the site offers full-time and part-time programs, and staff speaks numerous languages including English, Hindi, Gujarati, Konkani, Sindhi, Telugu and Marathi. The staff is experienced and trained in First Aid and CPR, and each child is provided breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack each day. St. Thomas Catholic School accommodates children ages 2 to 5. The focus of their curriculum is to prepare children academically, socially and emotionally for entering elementary school. The Christian-based education also gives children a solid spiritual foundation to draw upon throughout their lives.
This school has gone through some changes, with St. Thomas Syro-Malabar Catholic Church as new management. A fully renovated facility was completed in February 2010.
Besides offering childcare before and after school, St. Thomas also provides transportation and lunch for an extra fee.
