Milestones Preschool is a developmental program based on East Charleston Road in Palo Alto. The school offers programs for children ages two through five, such as Pre-K and Young 5 programs and extended day programs. Its curriculum emphasizes social development, emotional development, physical activities and intellectual development.
College Terrace Children's Center, known as "CTC," is a part of Palo Alto Community Child Care (PACCC). It provides care for children of 2.5 years to kindergarden entry age, and has a staff-to-child ratio of 1 to 8. There is a daily snack and lunch. The focus of CTC is to help children form friendships and problem-solving skills. Parents are kept informed through a daily journal entry that the staff write about each child. CTC is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).
Love N Care Christian Pre-school and Daycare provides Palo Alto residents with a full-service daycare center geared toward learning and games for younger pupils. It is located in the same complex as Crossroads Community Church. Call for more information.
Serving Palo Alto Families since 1955, Friends Nursery School is a non-sectarian nursery school. Located in front of The Friends Meeting of Palo Alto on Colorado Avenue with plenty of parking, it specializes in younger children from ages 3 to 5. A nice playground and trees make this a great place to learn.
