Waukee United Methodist Church was founded in 1869 and constructed a new building in 1978 that incorporates large stained glass windows that were removed and refurbished from the original sanctuary. The midsized church offers youth and adult education, music and child care, and summer camp.
West Side Kids is a preschool and daycare located on Northeast Dartmoor Drive off of Old Highway 6 (Hickman Road), west of Point of Grace church.
