Calvary Christian School was founded by Calvary Church of Santa Ana for the purpose of assisting families in raising their children by providing an academic program that is integrated with biblical instruction and merges faith and learning. It offers various educational programs to enable students to develop the ability to communicate effectively and to think critically, conceptually and creatively, and apply knowledge to real life situations, such as problem solving, using technology, and analyzing, interpreting and evaluating significant concepts within various contexts. Its academic curriculum includes English, Bible studies, math, science, social studies, computers and art. The school provides various sports programs as well, such as basketball, baseball, football, soccer, hockey, tennis, softball, track and meet, cross-country and swimming.
