Founded in 1933, Laguna Blanca School is an independent, coeducational and college-preparatory day school for students in grades kindergarten through 12. Jodi de Marcos founded De Marcos Productions in Santa Barbara in 1981. It began as a graphic arts business in the late 1970’s and eventually became De Marcos Productions Model Agency (DMP) exclusive to Santa Barbara. DMP produced many successful models on the international runways of top designers and fashion magazines. One of the best-known models discovered by DMP was, at the time, fifteen-year-old Guenevere Van Seenus from San Marcos High School who was featured in the May, 2009 issue of Vogue Magazine as one of the top models in the fashion industry.Today, De Marcos Productions continues to develop models as well as the talents of many young people who posses an innate passion for fashion. At DMP, you can learn many of the creative skills and trades called for by the fashion industry.
