Mountain Phoenix Community School is a Jefferson County public charter school located in Wheat Ridge, CO. We offer an educational program inspired by the methods of Waldorf education to K-8 students. Our mission is to provide an arts-based, developmentally appropriate education that nurtures the whole child: Head, Heart and Hand.Our curriculum is comprehensive in scope and artistic in nature. Its academic components are aligned to state standards and framed within an artistic, creative and imaginative context. Mountain Phoenix Community School is dedicated to preparing students for life through a curriculum rich in background knowledge, development of the imagination that will lead to higher level thinking, active learning and meaningful, integrated projects and experiential approaches, and mastery of skills in alignment with core standards.
