Comfort products was founded in 1973 by Erik Giese and others in Aspen as a product design and development firm specializing in footware for companies like US Shoe, Raichle Ski Boots, Adidas and others. Product Innovations was founded in 1982 in Aspen by Mark Joseph and developed many products for Trek Bicycle, Black Diamond, The North Face and the ski industry.In 1992 they combined forces to develop products for Rollerblade, FootJoy, Oh shoes, LitesNow, the ski boot industry and others. Janson Simpson joined in 2000. Our primarily business model is to develop our proprietary ideas and then patent, prototype, test and license them to various companies. We occasionally perform services for clients to develop their ideas into real products.
