While Dodger Stadium is primarily the home to Major League Baseball's Los Angeles Dodgers, its overall design and location amongst the hills just north of downtown L.A. make it a popular locale for concerts and events all year round. It's a must-visit for any self-respecting baseball fan that visits SoCal during the summer.

Dodger Stadium Parking
You'll save roughly 50% on parking if you buy parking passes online. Exiting the stadium after the game can be brutal, but parking in Lot 15 or in the back of Lot 4 will minimize your post-game wait time. There are a couple offsite lots, but you'll have to walk up a steep hill to get to the game.

Hotels near Dodger Stadium
There are plenty of no-frills budget hotels in the area, although they aren't necessarily within walking distance. You're also less than 2 miles from downtown L.A.'s mix of historic hotels and luxurious properties like the Westin Bonaventure Hotel & Suites.

Seating at Dodger Stadium
The seats in the top deck behind home plate give you the most bang for your buck. However, there really isn't a bad seat in the house to watch the game.

Food at Dodger Stadium
Dodger Dogs are one of the country's most iconic stadium foods, and Extreme Loaded Dogs will allow you to top it in several different ways. The right field pavilion is an all you can eat section featuring classic concession fare, although beer is sold separately. You can also bring in your own food.

Beer at Dodger Stadium
Beer prices range from around $7 to $16, depending on what you're ordering. The loge level concourse features several local craft brews. Lines are long throughout the stadium, but they tend to move fast.

Parking alternatives at Dodger Stadium
The Dodger Stadium Express can get you to the stadium from Union Station or the South Bay for free with a game ticket. You can also get to Union Station by train or Metro Rail for a fee.

What to bring to Dodger Stadium
You'll want to bring a jacket or even a blanket if you're attending a night game, especially if you're in the upper deck. You may also want to bring a seat cushion.

Insider tip for Dodger Stadium
Hang out along the parking lot's perimeter after the game and wait for the parking lot to clear. You'll be treated to some of the city's most spectacular skyline views.
